The book ‘Nostalgia’ documents the Artists approach to making work about the dockland area of Falmouth and the Fal Estuary in Cornwall England. It accompanied the artists first Exhibition at the Lemon Street Gallery in 2005. Draper had studied at Art School in Falmouth in the early 1990’s and the body of work illustrates his new approach ten years later when revisiting a previous Nocturnal subject matter. With a 1500 word text by the Art Historian Michael Spender which fully explains the artists approach from initial inspiration and gathering of information to the finished pieces. This is a 36 page publication with 14 full colour reproductions of the artists atmospheric whistlerian works.
